The Housing Authority of the City of El Paso held the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Medano Heights Apartments on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

The apartment complex is on the westside of El Paso right off of the I-10 freeway and Redd Rd.  Our ZTEX crews have worked tirelessly on this project, meeting every deadline head-on and completed each task on time. ZTEX completed the project in December 2019, a few days before Christmas.

El Paso Mayor, Dee Margo, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and said that as we continue to grow our city, we need to ensure we build an infrastructure that helps support every citizen of El Paso. He also stated that this initiative came at the cost of ZERO taxpayer money. One of the new tenants, Hannah Cantrell, said ”My kids love it here, they feel at home here, it’s very stable, it’s a good environment and community life”. She went on to express her gratitude and was enthusiastic in saying that this allows her to go back to school and pursue better things. Watch the video below for the official cutting of the ribbon.
