Christopher is raising funds for the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. His mother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on October 6, 2017. “I will never forget this day. It has changed our lives forever,” said Christopher. Christopher was 14 years of age, and his mother 47 years old at the time of diagnosis. This is terrible cancer with a poor prognosis. Most cases of pancreatic cancer are diagnosed as advanced because it is difficult to detect.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers. It destroys patients and their families. Insufficient funding for pancreatic cancer research. Christopher said, “Thanks to the pancreatic research, three and a half years later, my brilliant and brave mother is still living with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which is a miracle.” Unfortunately, most people have had advanced pancreatic cancer for less than a year.
