Position Summary
Operate heavy equipment is a safe and appropriate manner. Equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, backhoes, blades, graders, compactors, scrapers and other pieces of equipment. Responsible for securing, maintaining and keeping equipment clean.
Qualifications

Position Summary
To perform skilled concrete finishing techniques, primarily on flat surface cement project including sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and slab on grade. Skilled cement finishing is performed according to accepted standards and practices.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
- Assist construction/paving crew with various duties such as; shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely backing/dumping trucks into the paver.
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials with a shovel.
- Follow the direction of Superintendent as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
- May be called upon to run small power tools such as a jackhammer.
- Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials.
- Lifts, carries and holds material, tools and supplies.
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Local Construction Company seeking Class A CDL/Hazmat driver to perform the following responsibilities.
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, transportation of heavy equipment to and from job sites. Secure all loads that are being transported according to TxDot regulations. Inspect loads for any damages before and after to ensure the quality of delivered equipment. Keep constant communication with Superintendents to ensure timely pickup/delivery of equipment.
Prior experience in a construction environment Must have current CDL/Hazmat, medical card, and experience working around heavy equipment Have a positive attitude, team player and strongly committed to safety.

Assistant Project Engineer will be assisting in completing engineering and construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. Responsible for/but not limited to development of subcontract agreements, purchase orders, material submittals, reviewing plans and specification, quality takeoffs, problem-solving, progress measurements, cost review, submittal of time sheets.
Will be actively involved in any other project-related work.
Duties and Responsibilities
Each project has different specifications, goals, environmental conditions, and financial considerations. Below is a list of general job duties of a project manager, though these will vary depending on the specific project.
* Reviews project plans and proposals, then work with management to develop project objectives. Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.
* Prepares and distributes a description and timeline of the project.
* Reviews contractor bids; interviews and assigns personnel to specific phases and elements of the project. Through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication, oversees and coordinates the technical aspects of the project.
* Regularly monitors budgets, contractors, and schedules. Allocates project resources appropriately; approves expenditures; employee contractor contracts. Keeps an accurate record and electronic database of all elements of the projects.
* Presents procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures. Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must possess strong prioritization and organizational skills, must be detail-oriented, time management skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure situations
- Valid Driver’s License
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Combination of experience, education and the willingness to learn is required.
